There's really no point in blaming individual losses on Lobo. It's not like a player who makes a single bad play (Newman missing a FG or BP fumbling, for example) -- Lobo does a poor job pretty consistently, game after game, both in the offensive line and playcalling. And nine years in, it's something that's extremely unlikely to improve. It's probably time to accept it and focus on other areas of improvement.
 
They are playing like a team that wants to become bowl eligible. We're playing like a team that is Shrevport bound.
 
An 0-4 Wake weekend kind of sucks.

And getting humiliated on the halftime highlight show as well. Salt in the wound.
 
dammit. i just wish one of my favorite football teams had a dominating defensive line.
 
I still have hope. However, I'm willing to bet that we make a late run and lose by a soul-crushing FG because Newman yanks a right-hash 23 yarder as time winds down...

this football team is showing us another UNC type effort. it makes zero sense how these guys can challenge teams like clemson, fsu, notre dame and get clobbered by garbage like UNC and fucking vanderbilt.

Just plain embarrassing to be a Wake Forest Alumni. These guys don't give a shit, why should we? Why should we contribute to an athletic program when neither the basketball or football players and coaches give a shit about winning? There is no pride out there today, just as there was none last night. You might not have the best talent, but you can be well prepared and play hard on every play and not make stupid mistakes. These guys are stealing money from the people in the stands. If things are not a lot better in the second half, Grobe & Co should personally refund every one's money that was paid for this game. Not because we lost, but because we played like we could care less.
