Urban Meyer to OSU

Will he have the balls to show up in JAX for the Gator bowl with his new team vs. his old team? I say no! He will use the "recruiting excuse".

Just saw that is matchup in Gator Bowl. I know that those two teams will bring out attendance and tv ratings, but they are both probably the worst teams those programs have had in over a decade. Not going to be a good game at all.
 
Buckeye fans constantly complained and complained for years about how dirty Meyer was. Now they're all beside themselves with joy that they can just keep the machine running.

Nothing like bringing in a coach whose teams led the NCAA in arrests to help clean up a program rife with dirty boosters and drug rings.
 
guess he's sick of spending time with his family. can't say i blame him.

Ohio State's last trip to the Gator Bowl against Clemson did not end so well!

What a coincidence that Urban Meyer gets his bff a swank job, goes on vacation for a year, and then his dream job "magically" opens up. Urban couldn't have known that any of this was going to happen to tO$U, could he?

Heard that. There should be repurcussions for people that say things publicly that are just ridiculously false. It's insulting that he would think anyone would believe something like that. Too bad someone at the presser didn't have the guts to call bullshit on his comment.
 
If O$U pays that kind of money to Meyer then that just shows how fucked up college athletics has become. Maybe he will have another nervous breakdown and stroke out. I would laugh my ass off...

With tuition going up, students struggling to get aide, professors having to fight like hell for research money the whole thing has become a fucking joke.

Ridiculous and the NCAA is so corrupt it makes me want to puke.

You do realize that Ohio State football makes almost $20 million a year in profit, not revenue, but PROFIT? A championship contending Ohio State team brings in much more revenue than a middle of the road Ohio State team.

Paying Urban $4 million a year is better for the academic side than paying some non elite coach $1.5 million a year.
