UGA has always recruited great running backs. Garrison Hearst, Rodney Hampton, Terrelll Davis, Knowshon Moreno, Herschel Walker. There have been others good enough to be drafted during the last 20 years as well - Musa Smith, Tim Worley, Thomas Brown.

Marshall will likely add to that list.
 
Arguably Georgia's Running Back U of the East Coast (USC gets the honors nationally typically).

More Georgia guys who were/are NFL RBs are Danny Ware, Olandis Gary, Kregg Lumpkin, and Verron Haynes.
 
Lars Tate from the 1988 draft.

Willie McClendon was pre-Herschel and is Bryan McClendon's father, who is now the RB coach at UGA.

Don't forget about Charlie Trippi.

Yeah but no one talks about LSU being a problem program.

Remember Les took Metzenberger, the QB that Richt threw off the team for lying about assaulting a girl in a bar.

Also, most of Georgia's "arrests" are for issues in Athens where there's clearly a vendetta by the APD against the team. Florida has the same problem in Gainesville but I find it interesting that you never hear much from Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa PD.

A large part of it is also that Miles and Saban do not hold themselves out as some kind of holier-than-thou, fatherly missionaries while their players take weekly trips to jail.

And the whole "we're victims" mentality because Athens PD busts people breaking the law is self-perpetuating. If they arrest you it's because they're conspiring against you? You know, that really is the whole idea of cops vs criminals.

Its funny how the same things happen in Columbia to Gamecocks as its widely known the Cola police have it in for Carolina.You'd think all the cops were from Clemson. Meanwhile you hardly ever hear of any misdoing in Clemson. Of course they are basically irrelevant now, so who cares.

That's garbage. Things happen in every college town including clemson. What are the cops supposed to do? Let a coach piss in the streets or let a player drive drunk just because they are part of the scar football program?

No I just think it's funny that he's making fun of Clemson for being irrelevant(especially since they just won their first ACC title in 20 years) when they've had two good seasons. I don't like the cockiness (okay, pun intended) that South Carolina fans are beginning to exhibit.

Agreed, that was a stupid comment. If these kids weren't doing stuff that was illegal, they wouldn't be getting arrested left and right.
