Girlfriend's Birthday

:noidea: Belk is a popular place to buy nice dresses and gowns, and Macaroni Grill is her favorite restaurant. I didn't think the point of the thread was to brag about the most expensive or impressive thing we have done.

I mean lets be honest its sounds very high school. My girlfriend's younger sister was going to prom, and they live in the middle of nowhere, and it was a real treat to go to Macaroni Grill. I see the progression for events like that as,
High school -generic chain
College- local good restaurant
Adult- expensive fancy restaurant
 
Whatever man, she's probably not the first person in the world to enjoy a chain restaurant. I like having a simple lady. IMO, it's a better gift to know what someone likes and give it to them, instead of trying to impress them. We go on lots of other dates to new places.

We have a couple of restaurants in Winston that we frequent: Midtown Cafe, River Birch, Zoe's Kitchen, Ishii, Downtown Thai, 6th & Vine, Diamond Back Grill
