Wake vs. Miami

- let's be honest we don't have an inside pressence
- 2nd key to the game for the team, we need to carve out space under the basket and get defensive boards. But we didn't do that. 1 rb diff at half and then 15 in the second half.
- All five players need to rebound not just the bigs
- with the zone we have to give up something, they are so strong inside you have to make them shoot from the outside
- Can't allow them 2nd chance points, we had 45 FG attempts and they had 65
- Recruiting Sun, Mon and Tues, back at practice on Wed. Team has Mon and Tues off.
 
If the games were decided on first halves alone, we could have some good numbers. Maybe we can get Rice to come help us out haha.

I watche Wichita State in person at Davidson today, and they are damn good on both ends of the floor. Gregg Marshall can flat-out coach. He'd be my top choice to replace Bz--all he does is win, everywhere he goes.
 
Assuming Marshall is from VA? I see he graduated from Randolph Macon and Richmond. Would be nice for him to come back this way. Let's hire him. Today.

Can't take these 20 pt losses any more....
 
I just want the season to be over and get the new guys in and see if things will turn around next season. I doubt it will but there's always a chance.

Could somebody please explain to me why we didn't get Marshall after Dino? I mean he has been around a while.
 
We're not just losing. We have gotten hammered for 2 straight years. Get someone in here who will stick to the rules but will also win. We have done it before.

I am right there with you, after not really knowing about Marshall, I agree he would be a great hire
 
Gregg Marshall is a great coach. He's also hated by lots of ADs. Apparently he's a dick?
 
I don't care if Marshall hates his Mom and kicks stray dogs. People think Coach K is an asshole, too, and I don't ever recall hearing any stories of Marshall embarassing his employer. Just get us a coach who can recruit and win basketball games.

There is a big difference from 'us' thinking kaye is a jerk, than people at your school and in the program thinking it.
 
No one ever has any stories to back up the Gregg Marshall slander though. I'd be happy to see what he could do with our program. As long as he doesn't cheat, we could use someone with attitude and edge to him.
