VOTE AGAINST

Why is it that when it's on a ballot it passes state by state? Even Cali for cryin out loud! Silent majority speaks loudly.
So because the majority decided it, that makes it ok? A majority of southerners supported slavery. A majority of whites supported segregation. Did that make those institutions correct?

I read this several times and its still makes me laugh.

Ha. I did see how you could intepret that as making no sense. Think the law in general and not the law this specific amendment.

A majority of lazy failures support taxing everyone else's property away from them. Does that make it correct?

You must spread some negative Reputation around before giving it to one-trick pony DreamOnDemOn again.

11 Countries where Same Sex Marriage is Legal:

http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/126362

Wow, look at THIS novel idea:

"In 1996, 15 years after gay activists brought the issue to the forefront in the early 1980s, the Dutch Parliament created a special commission to look into what effect, if any, making gay marriage legal would have on the country. Four years later legislation was passed making same-sex marriages legal starting April 1, 2001."

Actually researching instead of just using fear and hate?

Also, this:

"It is also the third predominantly Catholic country on this list. Considering the Church’s views on gay marriage and homosexuality in general this is rather surprising. But the people who study this sort of thing have a theory: Portugal, Spain, and Argentina were all under dictatorship until well into the second half of the 20th century. The older generations, which in countries like the USA generally tend to be against same-sex marriage, remember what it is like to be persecuted for things you can’t control."

It's the absolute absurdity of it that makes it comical. What next, because gays have sex makes the sun too hot?

http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2012/...le-really-says-about-homosexuality/?hpt=hp_c1

But nowhere are same-sex acts named as the sin of Sodom. That intended gang rape only expressed the greater sin, condemned in the Bible from cover to cover: hatred, injustice, cruelty, lack of concern for others. Hence, Jesus says “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 19:19; Mark 12:31); and “By this will they know you are my disciples” (John 13:35).

How inverted these values have become! In the name of Jesus, evangelicals and Catholic bishops make sex the Christian litmus test and are willing to sacrifice the social safety net in return.

The sex / global warming link actually makes a lot of sense.

A. People are having more gay sex in the 21st century
B. Global Warming is becoming more rampant in the 21st century

No need to go to Point C. It is clear that gay sex causes global warming...Al Gore would not appro....hey, wait a minute....
