So if Scott Walker wins tomorrow...

2-1 in tv media alone is a HUGE advantage. That number doesn't factor in other campaign related expenses, either. I'm guessing the opponent is spending what he has on TV, while Walker is doubling that amount and still spending in other ways.

It's not 10-1. It's not like no one knew who Tom Barrett is or was. He has been the mayor for a while and this will be the third time he has lost in a race for governor. For crying out loud he just lost to Walker in Nov of 2010 when the spending was pretty equal.

Never understood the anti-labor conservative view point. Aren't unions just a function of capitalism? All the workers did was figure out a way, legally, to "pull themselves up by the boot straps" and changed the game. It was innovative and effective.

Right. Walker still have a huge advantage in money, which I think was the point. At least that's how I understood it. 2 to 1 or a 100 to 1, point is, Walker's loaded. Pretty impressive that Barrett has been able to keep this close without the benefit of Walker's cash.

Then they became bloated and lazy. They are the albatross around the neck of American business now.

Their purpose has come and gone.

They've done some pretty good things to protect effective and relatively expensive teachers. In states where the union has been broken, those teachers are now being RIF'd. Meanwhile, in NC, if you are a partner in a law firm or other such entity, you don't have to pay taxes on the first $50k of your income. Just taxing business owners like normal people would provide for thousands of more teachers and effectively eliminate the hiring freeze.

It would be great if Walker wins and then gets indicted before the fall.

I just have a hard time rooting for a sitting governor to get indicted. I hope he didn't do anything wrong, but it sure smells bad.

So far several other key aides have plead guilty.

Why do you have problems rooting for a guy who committed felonies to get caught?

I have a problem hoping that he did those things. I hope he didn't.

For some reason Huff Po isn't working for me, what will Walker be indicted for?

Well possibly committing crimes related to doing campaign work while on the tax payer's clock as a county manager (or some position like that). Evidently those are felonies in Wisconsin.

Stupid law. You know the South gets made fun of (and we deserve it a lot) but WI and Minnesota are two crazy states that people never really mention.

You souns like one of the people who tried to prosecute John Edwards

The difference is there looks like a case here. Several of those around him have plead guilty to felonies that are actual crimes.

I notice you weren't opposed to Davis being recalled in CA.

The best part of the CA recall was that Dareell Issa paid for the recall thinking he'd be the nominee.

Karma got Arhnold in that one. He totally screwed his good friend Dick Riordan. Karma outed Ahnold's lovechild for doing this.

and when they are gone, we will lose a lot of our middle class. But your side will be happy, the rich get much richer as the middle class gets poorer.

I never said i was opposed to this recall, I just support Walker and his fight against ridiculous entitlements that are bankrupting his State and our Country.

Unions shouldn't go away, its just time for them to reformed, reshaped and refitted to meet the needs of our 21st century economy.

The senate seats are really interesting. There are two races that are close, one of them Lehman and Wanggaard is a toss-up. I am guessing Wanggaard is expecting the top of the ticket to carry him. But, the recall is based on previous voting district lines. The next election will be with the newly re-drawn lines which means Wanggaard will likely win again in 2014. Lehman really missed out on some great tag lines. So far we have not seen any bumper stickers that said Recall Wang, which was really disappointing.

Taking away collective bargaining rights effectively ends unions. supporting Walker supports killing unions.
