True. But if anyone can find a way to blow a playoff series, it's the Bruins.
 
Pretty important 20 minutes coming up for the Caps.

Glad I kept my expectations low this year. Even if tonight is the last game of the season, its been much less painful than last year.

Had Tampa there, not Boston though.

Capitals first No. 1 seed since conference playoff format started in 1994 to be SWEPT in first or second rounds. Wow.

Also the 'Ning should hope Boston finishes off Philly as soon as possible. They'll lose their momentum over an extended break, especially if they are playing a team that doesn't have a lengthy layoff. Long breaks are a KOD in the playoffs. Just ask the Caps.

I don't think it will matter when the Boston-Philly series ends. They likely won't start the ECF until the two West series are over.

Yeah probably, but that just means Tampa would have an even more ridiculously long break. Would be good for them if their opponent is in the same boat.

Kind of amazing that the VAN-NSH series is the only one that isn't 3-0 or a sweep at this point.
