NHL Chase for Lord Stanley's Cup

All these choking dog teams doing well in the playoffs. Maybe there is something to that May 21 talk

“I expect him to be back, yeah,” McPhee said on breakup day at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. “He's a good coach.”

USA-Canada game is 3-3 in the third.

Stepan just scored to tie it.

I always forget how comically large international rinks are.

Flyers withstand an onslaught in the first period and end up taking it down 3-1. You heard it here first.

As a hockey noob, in curious what you would change? Are these just the wrong players for this system or does it run deeper? I've heard a lot of people calling out Boudreau but based on the little that I know it didn't seem like coaching. A lot of mental mistakes that led to PPs.

I actually like Boudreau but I think you at least have to make a coaching change. Not to sound like a broken record but it looks like this team has reached its ceiling with him as head coach. I have always said that the sign of a good coach in any sport is how hard his team plays (that is why I think K is the best). Tampa was BY FAR the hardest playing team in all four games. Our guys were not mentally ready. And (with all due respect to GM GM) I think there is a difference between a good regular season coach and a good playoff coach. Bruce's style seems to lead to a lot of confusion and shiftlessness come playoff time.

I really like boudreau. I wouldn't want to see him leave. I agree with you on all your points, but I feel like to a large extent that's why you trade for a guy that you want to be a team leader which I think that they thought they had done this year.

We'll see. Bob will have to step up big, which none of the Philly goalies have done yet this playoffs. If there is an onslaught by Boston early, I think the series is over. Philly needs to get out quickly today and match the Bruins from the opening faceoff.

That said, I wouldn't mind the Bruins finishing this off tonight. Not at all.

Lucic finally on the board! And a 5 on 4 power play goal!

If the Bruins win tonight, I'm not sure what I'm more excited for: being in the conference finals for the first time in a decade or Jack Edwards sure to be epic victory monologue. 10:1 odds he works in an Osama reference

His MTL monologues are always great. Two years ago when they finished the sweep in Montreal, his reference to a red coated retreat for the exits was hilarious.

On Patriots Day no less. A classic

Bruins look flatter than coke that has been sitting out all night right now. This isn't good. They need Bergeron back.

If Lucic has finally gotten his scoring touch back, this Bs team could really be dangerous

If Bergeron is ok. I don't know what is wrong, but the Bruins need him bad. Otherwise it could affect them like the Krejci injury last year.
