The center/pressure system took a turn to the North right before coming onshore and has slowed down considerably - makes for a bigger impact here in Northern NJ/NYC...
 
Weather Channel says the surge has likely reached it's peak in NYC. That's certainly good.
 
Another tree dropped, I can't imagine what this is going to look like tomorrow. This is gonna be expensive.

There are going to be a lot of cool movies set during this storm.
 
So we just had a fire alarm go off in our building. Had to evacuate 350 people during some of the heaviest rain. What are the chances?
 
We still have power in NE DC, but there are a few trees down in our neighborhood. Lots of FB friends out in VA are without power and the inlaws in NJ are without power. Sister and brother in law in NYC also without power.

NYC pics are crazy.
 
How big is this eye, My mom says there's no wind now and hasn't been for the past half an hour or so, is she in the eye now? Someone said it turned north.
