Holy crap, I just noticed that you are probably 724. I never spent too much time reading your spelled out name on this board. I saw references to 724 on threads and wondered whatever happened to that guy, and why to people keep referencing someone who hasn't really posted in a long time.

in other news, we are trying to get Christmas cabin stuff set up w/ some friends of ours right now, and the cabin is going to end up being like, $400 for 3 nights (per couple). as much as i enjoyed the experience last year, i'd just as soon us spend the night in our own house, leave the dog at home during the day, and ski during the day and do Christmas that way, rather than lug everything up the mountain and spend the $$. I know the girl of the other couple is hell-bent on doing the cabin again (different from last year, where we snowshoed in- this is just a cabin off the main road that'd we'd drive into) and will be extremely sad if we don't do it. i'm trying really hard to get excited, but I'm just not that pumped to spend $400 on something I don't REALLY want to do again.

Just don't do go then. Declining an invite doesn't have to be a significant emotional event.

Is this a MFing joke? Someone responded saying "look again, the second set is different" and another guy responded saying:

"I wasn't surprised.
Just like all the politicos. Say one thing give you something else. Very obvious that all the cards shown on the first page are not shown on second.
They think we are stupid and so does this trick.
After yesterday, I feel we are stupid."


WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES THIS STUPID CHAIN EMAIL HAVE TO DO WITH POLITICS?

I've never understood why women agonize over these decisions. Especially when they don't want to participate in the event.

blurgh. my friend who was just complaining that she needed more friends just bailed on our plans to go to some bday party for some guy she just met randomly where she would be meeting like 40 other peeps. soooo laaaaaaaaaaame. and i really wanted to go! korean style karaokeing? totally up my alley. #randomrant

omg, people making non-political stuff political piss me off soooooooooo much. i get that it's election season. i get that we're surrounded by it. but seriously, does it have to invade EVERYTHING?!

No :( we are going the weekend before. My SIL thought she was going to be out of town for the ND game so we planned to visit another weekend and then she found out she would be in town and my inlaws are getting to stay with her and go to the game.
