Ha! Need to fray the edges a bit. Rough it up. It's all too Vanilla. Both guys know how to win! I would rather get excited about ideas that are polarizing than some of the lame folks people are suggesting.

Yeah, here at Wake we win the right way, not with coaches who host recruits at barbecues at their house, and then lie about it to the NCAA. We don't need sleazeballs like that. :rolleyes:

He would provide an immediate presence and energy which is what the program needs. He made Tenn a mainstay in a short period of time. Yes mistakes were clearly made. Should not be so short sighted to disregard him based on that. Guy knows how to win. If Jim Tressel whispers were being had about replacing Grobe, I highly doubt anyone would be against the idea. "Bring the SWAGGER back"

Bruce Pearl is a pretty suspect coach. I know people will just point to the results, but he's a lot like Jay Wright in that he just recruits a bunch of players, rolls a ball out there and hopes they win.
 
Bruce Pearl is complete slime. He divorced his wife so that he could throw coke parties with Ed Orgeron at his house outside of Knoxville. His entire family is a train wreck. Feel free to ask Manifest about it.

Obviously we would never in a million years hire Bruce Pearl, BUT if we did, we would definitely have to stop talking shit to State fans about Gottfried.

He's exactly what we need! As for talking smack about MG at NC State, who are we trying to fool? The reality is he's brought them to a level they haven't been in a very long time.
They're doing just fine...and why should they care that we talk trash about their coach as long as they are winning?

Ha, I heard that he was doing some kind of furniture retail in Knoxville, but wasn't sure if it was true or not. Guess when you go through what he went through in this economy, you take whatever job you can get.
 
He's an executive with the company if I remember correctly, plus he's on ESPN doing college bball shows. I've seen him quite a few times during halftime and after a game ends. Seems relatively good analyzing teams on tv.
