Not surprising at all. I didn't think the story really checked out anyway. There was talk of a witness but the witness never came forward. It was just a bizarre story from the beginning.

In the original post he said he is most interested in the Droid 2. To be fair, Verizon's current Droid 2 will never allow you 4G access. The only 4G phone that has actually been released is the Thunderbolt.

I have had several Android phones on Verizon and I would encourage you to reconsider and take a long look at the iPhone. That said, get the Thunderbolt or wait for the Motorola Droid Bionic that will be out in a couple months. Both are 4G phones and may be a little tougher on battery life but...
