Houston plays hard but they have no offensive talent on that team. That being said - they would beat Wake 45-21.

These replays drive me nuts - obviously didn't hit the rim.

WFU Hoops: '24-'25 Roster Construction Thread: (-) Carr, Monsanto, Ituka, Clark, Miller, Marsh, Keller, Canka / (+) Spillers, Biliew, Cosby

That does explain a lot as it was just baffling we went from the high of Duke to utter collapse.

Yalden is not athletic enough to guard the post. He has been trying to slim down and play on the perimeter and it did not go well. He was thought to be the bottom of Wisconsin's bench which included some former walkons (e.g., Carter Gilmore).

Shooshmoo - remind me, you are from Wisconsin? I'm from Appleton and went to UW for grad school.

I think you are missing the context of the comment - I'm talking about tonight. With all the turnovers and inept offense from Wisconsin, they should be down 30. Of course a typical Wisconsin game wouldn't be down 30, but given how they are playing and how the game is being called, they are lucky...

If you are watching the game, a good offensive team would be up 30 on Wisconsin. JMU plays hectic ball but they overall are not highly skilled. Brick after brick from deep.

JMU is the 2nd worst team I've seen so far. Unfortunately Wisconsin is the worst.

I'm not sure it is explicit gaming - it is just winning a game in Nov is the same as March. They will win more Nov games because they have a consistent core. Then the credit they get for those games means every conference game is overvalued. Thus you end up with 6 bids. The ACC is just the...

I'm gonna make up a theory here. The ACC is a transfer destination league while the MWC is not. Thus the teams in the ACC take more time to get their shit together and gel while the MWC may have more stable teams winning more consistently early in the year. Since metrics don't care about...

The Midwest is muscle ball and has been for decades. I remember playing pickup at Wake thinking how much more fun the style of play was vs. the grind I experienced in high school.
