2014 Atlanta Braves Thread: HOF SMOLTZIE!

Buck Belue diagnosed Minor, he's relying on this cutter now instead of his change up and its killing him. He's pitching to contact which is the worst way to approach big time hitters.

He's prob so far gone mentally we're not gonna get much out of him this season.
 
this was really cool: the dan le batard show had smoltz, glavine, and maddux on for the last hour on thurs jul 24th. it's on itunes podcenter, really entertaining stuff.
 
Got beat easily by the freaking padres. Wood didn't have his stuff tonight.

I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but the Baseball Hall of Fame's official website is listing Maddux's primary team as the Braves.
 
Semi-Encouraging outing from Minor yesterday. Still gave up 8 hits but spread them around and got some support. Hopefully is a confidence booster.

Last week the Braves finished their stretch of 23 consecutive games of playing a team in 4th/5th place in their division (Jun 22nd to July 21st). During that span they picked up 0.5 game on the Nationals.

Freddi said J-Hey told him that his back tweeked a bit, apparently the trainers worked on him all during the game and Freddi said he expects Jason back soon, day to day.
