2017 College Football Coaching Carousel

Not much. Your point?

Sociology departments are bleeding athletic departments dry.

They come down to $$$. Read the whole link.

There is a monetary argument to rebut the assertions of the play for pay advocates, especially from schools like Wake -- see Hatch's quotes -- which have difficulties competing under the status quo. The fact of disparate impact on most institutions who offer scholarships is unworkable. From a purely financial standpoint. That is in addition to the non-availability issues with the proposition.

But your article doesn't demonstrate that availability of money is the primary issue. They have to reply to it -- see any legal brief -- but it would not be the thrust of their position.

I wonder how the Disney/Fox merger will effect the next TV contract. Football and men's basketball are the only sports in the black. In 2010, only Miami and Arizona st had baseball programs making money. Mainly because A rod and Barry Bonds gave large donations. So it's easy to say that black men work on the courts and gridiron so that girls can get soft ball schollys.

Yep.

The merger along with broader trends in sports could drive down the contracts unless new bidders like Facebook and Amazon enter the fray.

After that admission, facing her would be frightening:

So can we call him Dick Rod now?

Changes happening at Maryland. Walt Bell, OC is gone to FSU. Pete Lembo (yup, that one) has been relieved of special team duties. So he is just assistant head coach/tight ends. Quite a drop for Wake's purported HC. Sounds like somebody guessed right with Clawson over Lembo.

our special teams suck, maybe we should hire Lembo! complete the circle!

Wow Josh Gattis apparently getting the nod from Alabama as co-offensive coordinator and WR coach. Awesome step for him!

Wow. That’s great for Josh. He’s got to be on lists for a head coaching job soon.
