2021-22 Men's College Basketball Season - UNC v. Kansas for the Natty

Nice! Miami was up 8 at half. They are 0-2 against Virginia. The Cavs have a chance to be quad 1 W for us.

Most likely but they still have to play the game. And if there is a chance for us to get screwed out of the double bye that would be it.
 
Yep. It is not beyond unreasonable to believe that Miami could lose two of their remaining 4 games.
 
Kenpom certainly expects them to lose twice.

Dream setup IMO is we get the 2 or 3 and get a chance to avenge the Miami Ls, or play whoever upsets them on Wednesday in BKN. Imminently possible
 
Watching Oregon State for absolutely no reason.

It is shameful that we almost blew that game.

You reckon Wayne Tinkle was offered the devil's bargain before the Pac-12 tourney last year? As a 5 seed, you get to win the conference championship, getting the auto-bid to the NCAA tourney as a 12 seed and then advance to the Elite Eight. In exchange, you'll be rocking a #235 kenpom ranking in mid-February the following season. Actually, I'm kinda shocked their kenpom is that high...
 
We would really be sitting pretty if the refs hadn't gifted Duke the win in Cameron.

Miami is a fraud and doesn't deserve to dance, even though they probably will. They have those nice 3 guards, but they're an awful team defensively. Also pissed the Hokies couldn't shoot yesterday. That could have put UNC on the wrong side of the bubble.

With u*NC-CH where they are in the ACC standings, the refs may have baby blue hangover memories and gift them enough to get the double bye and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Well, lots could happen, but if Wake wins out, UNC is going to have to ruin kaye's last game to get the double buy.

We could be heading to a 4/5 Wake/UNC qtr, Wake/dook semi.

In that scenario I don't like Wake's chances in the QF. ACC would love one more Duke-u*NC-CH game before Coach K rides into the sunset.
