2023 WF Baseball - Schedule Released

I swear. 2 relievers come in, give up hits, error, and runs...back to where we were, 6-2.

Why can't we have a reliever who can come in and shut someone down!?
 
And the ND reliever gets a 1,2,3 T8....

"Wake has a great pitching, great hitting team this year", blah, blah, blah....
 
Can’t make 4 errors on the road against an all-American caliber starting pitcher. Believe our pitchers committed two of those errors.
 
The pitching staff doesn’t seem to field their position well. Need a solid start from Hartle, bullpen starting to show real cracks. Can’t afford a sweep.
 
I feel like they have really screwed up Costello’s rehab. No way he shouldn’t be back by now.
 
Off to great start. No one covering 1st so miss an out.

If you can't tell the difference in coaching, just listen to ND announcers. ND players are taught how to and where to swing in certain situations. Wake? Not so much.

So far, just like yesterday.

Another hit on a 2 strike count and an rbi...
 
And we end the first inning 0-4....very good ACC team vs Average ACC team....
 
Why to we so often look puzzled and so unconfident at the plate for innings. Whereas opponents seem to at least figure out our pitchers fairly quickly, even if they may struggle a little with hits. They get enough to win easily.

Our one Clemson win was extra inning HR

Error on Corona turns easy hit ball for an out into a base hit.
 
Another simple throwing error to 1st by Corona results in runner on with 2 outs B3
 
Next hitter singles....let's see where this 2 out error leads....usually not well for us....
 
And on schedule, a 3 run HR.....you can't make this stuff up...out of here
