slightly disappointed the freshmen (esp. nelson) hasn't been able to earn more playing time. you would think gill (who has struggled at the plate) might be the odd man out, but maybe they really prefer his defense at catcher to ballestero.

also it's been a while since katz has played -- he's also been scuffling, but wonder if there is an injury.
