He is a legit 7 foot tall, so it is not inconceivable that he'll develop into a solid ACC big man. Chase McFarland looked like he'd never get off the bench, but had a really good junior year.

My question regarding Washington's increased playing time last night, is what was up with Devin. He looked like he got injured early in the game and Bz pulled him for a while. Then when he came back in he didn't appear to playing at full strength.

He blocks shots and doesn't have a lot of bad possessions. Needs to get stronger hands. It is almost a luxury to have a 7 footer coming off of the bench that is serviceable.

With a good coach he could be a consistent contributor and more. He's got good hands, a good touch and plays above average D already.

Send him to big man's camp this summer. It could be more valuable than summer school if it conflicts with the schedule.

He still struggles to keep his arms up sometimes. Irritates me when bigs don't use their length.
