Awesome Map Thread

Interesting. It was just social media, but I saw a theory that cholesterol meds lead to higher Alzheimer's rates. So if that were true, then perhaps obesity->high cholesterol->cholesterol meds->Alzheimers. That is a totally unscientific take but the map does seem to match obesity maps. Of course the Alzheimer's map also matches the Bible Belt, so....

It would make sense that a Mediterranean diet rich in omega-3's would be beneficial.

weird how God afflicts the bible belt with so many issues
 
how do you explain the big hole in appalachia? lack of diagnoses?
 
there is a hereditary factor in Alzheimer's so it makes a little sense that families within a region can push numbers higher.
