First man to get a team of horses up Bear Mountain
That’s heartbreaking. It’s the most sincere response i’ve seen to the Republican “war” on CRT. I’d hope that the rest of the Democratic Party begins to begins to respond similarly.
I call on America's pop stars and rappers and movie makers and television writers to inundate us with CRT then. Take it to the streets. Put it in the video games and all over TikTok. fuck these motherfuckers
That is so fucking sad. Good job JH and junebug. Mission accomplished.
They'll come here and explain that Black people in Mississippi just don't know what it's like for people to make them feel bad because of their race.
And we'll make fun of them, but they probably honestly don't know about the legacy of racism in Mississippi because they never learned it and they don't want others to learn it either.
Yep. Imagine how uncomfortable and triggered white people might feel about learning actual history. We must protect them!
Honestly, though, do you feel good about this JH and Junebug? Do you feel like you're on the right side of history here?
I'm not dumb enough to fall for the false choice of "CRT(TM)" or "Whatever Shoo/Ph think the absence of CRT(TM)" is. As repeatedly, previously stated in this thread, I believe you can and should teach about race as a fundamental part (among many) of the American experience. For once in your lives, try to expand your analysis beyond your usual reductionist "Whatever makes me feel (falsely) virtuous" versus "Disingenuous strawman characterization of a dissenting option (the opposition to which also makes me feel (falsely) virtuous)" binary approach to complex issues. Be smarter and more honest. Plenty of room to operate in both of those fields.

I'm not dumb enough
I really feel like you are selling yourself short here.
I'm pretty sure that the people who have reduced this argument to a litmus test over three letters are the dumb ones. If that's you, then I guess it is.
goddamn man, how do you live with yourself? You are the Tonga of bullshit.
Third, let us hear your explanation of the difference between critical theory and critical thought, if you are capable of recognizing the difference at all, that is.
Well, what about it Highland? It's been four days and you have still not explained the difference between critical theory and critical thinking. Based on your posts on the subject you don't even understand what critical thinking is, much less critical theory. What was your major at Wake? Sociology? Communications? Gender Studies? Have you read anybody from the Frankfurt School?
Either answer the question accurately or do yourself a favor and stop posting on a subject that you know nothing about.
