Kansas will be very young with likely 3 frosh and 2 sophs in starting line up. Great that Wellman reprimanded Self.
 
Looking at the graphic, if (when) we lose the first game to Kansas, we'll be playing at either 1:00 or 3:30 the rest of the tournament. Which means all of our games will be on AXS.

Which means our lineup of mostly sophomores should beat them, right?
 
AXS is actually a pretty decent channel, at least for random things like music concerts. Haven't seen any sports on there yet.

So we're looking at an Iowa/UTEP loser in the 7th/8th place game, most likely. I don't see any way we beat either of those teams. The total margin of loss for our three games in this tournament might break 75.

No. Remember, we recruit players who will mature into solid four-year players. We wouldn't want them to get too good too soon.

Iowa might come out of the bottom half. They should be pretty good.
 
Let's see Tharpe as pg, Selden as sg, Emblid as c,Wiggins as sf and Ellis as pf. Talented but very young.Plus, Frankamp,Greene and Mason as backcourt depth.

Shaping up to be a woodshed moment. But, on the bright side, we'll likely be featured in the 2-3 of the top 10 plays of the day.

Without having done a detailed look at their roster, that would be my guess. They were the top NCAAT snub last year and, IIRC, won the NIT.

Quick reminder...Fran McCaffery was hired the same year as [Redacted] (ETA: he also apparently played at WFU for a year under Tacy..did not know that).

We'll do okay against KU. They won't blow us out. We'll be up for the game and I honestly believe the offense will look decent against younger competition.
 
lol it's good to see that people still haven't realized that JTT and Ari are garbage. They had potential but they have just received shitty coaching after shitty coaching in college.
