Literally all I was saying initially is that I don’t believe Keyshawn is more than a role player on a really good basketball team. I got pulled into the doucheyness because of Ph immediately being an ass for no reason and sidetracked into an argument that had nothing to do with my original point (that would’ve been easy to discuss if not for the usual Ph high-horse BS).

Please. Plenty of people on these boards could be described as insufferable. All it takes apparently is disagreeing with them. Case in point: this thread. Sidetracked over and over. I realize there’s little to no real recruiting news but insufferable pissing contests is what every thread devolves into. Shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Which is why i haven’t posted a lot lately outside occasional baseball and tennis. Not too long ago, I could disagree with someone and have a discussion to try to understand their side of the argument (birdman, Creamy once in a recruiting thread and now we talk wake occasionally because it was civil and friendly). The board has devolved into a cess pool of despair and it shows in nearly every thread. Disappointing but not surprising. I need to be unbothered by doucheyness but it’s not easy when most people refuse to have civil discussion.
 
I can't find the reference to the Jamie Lewis sighting amidst the constant off-topic bitching. What was the sighting?
 
I was driving through campus Friday and saw Wilbekin. Looked pretty focused/maybe a tad sad. It made me sad too for some reason.

Hopefully one of those guys we see on mid-major squads in the tourney that greatly overachieve based on their recruiting rankings and stay 4 years to become a reliable big man as an upperclassmen.

He is a recent verbal commit to the Wake class entering in fall 2018. 6-10, 240 PF/C. Ranked at 338 a year ago. From Africa. Hasn't played basketball for very long. Was at a tiny private school in KY. Now doing a prep year at Hargrave. Supposed to have soft hands and a high motor.

There are links to year old (or maybe older) video in earlier posts on this thread. At best he is a project big. If he contributes more than spot minutes and practice player, he will have overachieved.

From France, which seems to be DM's best recruiting ground. Sad. Would love if he could pull some 2019 talent from NC, FL, and Kansas.

Some of Wake's best big men have been players from outside the US. I think it's always been hard for Wake to attract high profile developed big men. Those 6'9+ guys are in pretty high demand. Would love to get more of them but historically Wake has missed on more of them than it's reeled in.
