There's not a word in the LCJ about Wake. At least I didn't see it.

Why do we want a guy who wasn't good enough to get off L'ville's bench?

Think he checked verbal commits and not all sites. He is top 150 on Rivals and 247, but unranked on ESPN. Quality character and academic fit however his HS plays way lesser competition, where he is typically the tallest and most athletic player on the court. Better to evaluate him from his AAU team Thad, where he is the 3rd or 4th best player on his team.
 
I don't know who the coach is at UWF, but he has to be better than Manning, and I bet he goes there instead of here

K^2 telling Wendell Moore that NC State might be punished, but not the basketball team.

Moore is convinced that although N.C. State is involved in a federal investigation into college basketball and could have potential NCAA sanctions as a result, he has nothing to worry by considering the university.

“(N.C. State coaches) tell me that all the time,” Moore said Saturday at the Josh Level Classic in Greensboro. “The situation is kind of past them because they are a new coaching staff. Obviously they have a certain (amount) of accountability because of the school itself, but the basketball program should be fine, they say.”
