He's got programs in contact, but Marial is going to be one of those guys for whom we'll have to wait and see who prioritizes him before making any predictions on his recruitment.

Possibly, and with the new G League $125k contracts he could go that route too. He's not NBA ready at all though and will need at least 2 years at a college to go lottery, so hopefully Sharone Sr. is keeping him grounded. Kids like that need to hear that they will get there, but its not their time yet. Would be nice if people published more often how few second round picks have careers in the NBA, the percentage is not good. Still most kids see themselves as the snowflake that will be the exception, so who knows.

I can see why it took him a while to decide on Wake. A few local peers on that list that probably made the decision difficult.

I'd put the odds quite a bit higher. Hell, I'd say there's a 50/50 or better chance he's playing at one of those schools next year after Wake fires Manning.
 
It looks like he crumpled up the marketing material he received from Wake and later went back and dug it out of his trash can. Amiright?

His teammate Tre Mitchell was. I don't believe Ody was. Don't see it anywhere. Is this the tweet you're looking at (which Ody retweeted)?
