Two responses:I think that's important. We would need to show support for the student athletes while voicing our opinion to the administration.
Would that message be sent more effectively by us not buying any more WFU gear? Or something else?
Personally, I'd like to see fans do something like wear a specific color (obviously not gold or black) to sporting events to show their disagreement with our coaching staffs. To see a sea of orange (for example) on television at a basketball game - knowing what that message meant - would be a great slap in the face to Wellman et al.
At what point do we as fans need to make a statement to MSD about the direction our revenue sports programs are going in? Are you there already?
If so, how would you send that message?
I won't attend a WFU hoops game until Bzzz is gone. I don't know if that is "boycotting" or not. I used to go to about 4-5 games/year.
Not sure what word you'd use but either way, it ain't supporting. I'm sure the players, local vendors/businesses, and anyone else who also can't do jackshit about the situation appreciate your support, though.
Well this is a fairly stupid argument.
