The play-in game is part of the field.....
VCU is trash offensively. Can't shoot, but they do spend a lot of time on their (stupid looking) hair.
Four of these 6 are in, likely in Dayton, with 2 out: Providence, WF, USC, KSU, Syracuse, Ill. State
The best news here is that -- BY FAR -- Wake played the strongest non-conference schedule of any of these teams. The committee almost always rewards teams that schedule up.
If they were to forgive that (and every other teams' bad losses) with the others and give them the benefit of the doubt for their RPI Top 50 wins -- while also throwing a bone either to Illinois State or USC on the strength of the Pac-12 top three -- that would be a very significant departure from past practice.
Not to mention a departure from the recent emphasis on metrics, where Wake has a significant edge over all but Kansas St.

if michigan win this and duke having won, can we put to bed the fatigue excuse for not winning a few games on consecutive days?
I saw one extended interview with a committee member (or maybe past committee member) that said they don't really put as much emphasis on conference tourneys as you may think.
I tend to think they might have a lot of easy swap scenarios. Such as swap Duke/UNC, UM/Wisconsin, SMU/Cincy, maybe even URI/VCU - just to keep it simple. We'll see what the bracket looks like and maybe some of those will be obvious
