Bullshit Fox News Says

Fox is about to "ramp up" the disinformation campaign (as if it's not crazy already). Didn’t tucker successfully defend himself in court arguing he was an entertainer, not reporter, so he did not need to fact check. "I really believed that antifa started the terrorist insurrection. How was i to know i was wrong?"

Watched the opening monologue for Hannity the past two nights. He basically just ran the same clips and said the same thing on both nights. Here's a clip of Biden and Harris and Maxine Waters all saying they want to beat up Trump. Both sides.

IIRC americanthinker was a favorite of moonz, lectro, sailor, bkf and bsf4l.

LOL. It's amazing what the threat of a serious lawsuit will do to improve an organization's "journalistic principles." These websites have never had journalistic principles, they're all right-wing propaganda outlets. If any conservative who reads or listens to right-wing media were actually paying attention, they couldn't help but notice the number of websites and TV networks (including Fox and Fox Business) who have quickly backtracked on their false attacks on Dominion Voting Systems when Dominion made clear they going to file major lawsuits against them. Of course conservatives deliberately ignore or just don't care that their "news sources" aren't really straight news at all.

Tucker Carlson went after AOC last night in an attack that has been described as "vile and vicious" even by his usual low standards. He mocked AOC for claiming that her life (and that of other House members) was in danger during the attack on the Capitol last week. Responding to AOC's (very justified) remark that "it was not an exaggeration to say that many members of the House were nearly assassinated...Many of us, nearly and narrowly escaped death."

In response Tucker went on a "diatribe" in which he sarcastically called AOC a "vacuous little totalitarian moron" and said “When the most harrowing thing in life is pass freshman sociology at Boston University, every day is a brand new drama...Sandy’s heart is still beating fast. But she likes the cops now, despite the fact they’re white supremacists. What a difference a day makes.” (Sandy is apparently his nickname for AOC.)

Although AOC has yet to respond, her defenders on Twitter did. Some pointed out the hypocrisy of Carlson for "dismissing the threat posed by the Trump-supporting insurrectionists while playing up the supposed danger to Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the white couple from St. Louis who last year pointed guns at Black Lives Matter protesters walking past their home." Another pointed out that "Carlson famously made a song and dance on his show about an ‘attack’ on his home and his family which wasn’t an attack, but now says AOC shouldn’t be afraid for her life as armed mobs with nooses *actually* attacked and looted her place of work." Another said that "The infuriating thing about this is Carlton's dismissing fears that are completely valid BECAUSE *he* keeps making her a lunatic target."

Sandy is what her friends called her in college. Conservatives seem to think that’s strange or makes her inauthentic.

Something has to be done about these right-wing nut jobs who are purposefully riling up their gun totin fanbase. Feel free to spew nonsense about tax cuts and anti-abortion but don’t incite violence with absurd lies.

They use the same tactic when they call Obama, “Barry”.

Hey Tucker Carlson.... FUCK YOU!

The downside of Parler being destroyed is that Fox won't lose a lot of its audience and Tucker will keep his job of lying and scaring people.

When she gets assassinated it will be at least partially Tucker’s fault.

Another worry is that many of these younger progressive politicians might just eventually say "to hell with it" and leave politics and public life. Being the daily target of death threats and right-wing vitriol generally has to be stressful and exhausting, and you couldn't blame them if they decided to pursue another career away from the spotlight. But it would be a terrible blow to Democrats and the progressive movement generally to lose these young, up-and-coming leaders (and they will be leaders if they stay in politics long enough, which is what terrifies conservatives like Tucker.) I suspect that's one reason why Fox and other right-wing outlets love to hate and attack them so much - it's a way of trying to marginalize them and perhaps get them to leave political life. You know that Tucker and other Fox talking heads would be positively gleeful if the "Squad" or some other progressives just left DC or politics for good.
