Bullshit Trump Says

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/30/politics/lindsey-graham-isis-syria-trump/index.html

"Washington (CNN)Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham says President Donald Trump now understands what is at stake in Syria and has agreed to slowing, for now, his plans to immediately withdraw all US troops from Syria"

After a lunch he now understands what's at stake in Syria? And he's backing off his "cutting and running" declaration. Awesome. Is it better to be incompetent or spineless?

The "Art of the Deal" is making the worst decision possible, and then having people outrage to the point where his minions can read, react and then report to him. I must say, it has worked far better in politics than it ever did in business. And who knows, maybe that is democracy at its core.

Time confuses Angus. Something hadn’t happened. NBC reported it. Then it happened. NBC reported it.

So why did NBC News feel compelled to change the headline, correct the story, and add a lengthy editor's note???

If no big deal and business as usual... why the changes and edits??

As opposed to not changing the headline, leaving the story as is, despite knowing that the information was no longer accurate? I am struggling with what you are taking issue with here.

He doesn’t want a brand new article. Just change the headline and text of the original article to something new.

Angus is even dumber than we thought. He’s taking issue with a news organization updating a story as it changes.

And we didn't win, but that's neither here nor there

Also this persecution complex with the Republicans re: war in the Middle East is so fucking annoying. "BuT i ThOuGhT yOu DiDn'T wAnT tO bE iN a WaR." Yeah no shit we didn't want to be in a war in the Middle East, but now that we are there and created even more issues, a full removal of American troops will likely lead to disaster, therefore doing so is fucking dumb.
