Buzz lovers...

Maryland beat South Carolina 53-49 at Columbia on December 2, 1953 in the very first ACC game ever played......and there have been ACC conference games played in December every single year since then. For many years, Wake Forest & NC State opened their conference season with a game alternating between Winston-Salem and Raleigh on the first weekend in December.

I dont think that is true.

OK, give me a year when there wasn't an ACC game played in December.

I quit after 4.

I don't believe there was a December official ACC game in 76-77 either. There was the Big 4 played around thanksgiving, but those weren't official league games.

Getting nostalgic over the ACC? Really??
I get nostalgic about how we used to at least have a chance every time we stepped on the court.
