I'm overthinking this post, but if you are vanilla (which there are two left in the game) then you should be looking for two players, not one? You should be trying to identify the Civ Vig (unchecked claim by me) and the SK. To me, this reads as a (baby) dikstep and you are only looking for one player, when the remaining vanilla civs should be trying to identify two.
