I've looked and haven't seen anything. Have you all seen updates? Anything else about Roof and his connections, especially where he was headed?

Allegedly the shooter wanted to plead guilty to federal hate crime charges, but his attorney advised him to wait and see if the government would seek the death penalty.

Didn't feel like starting a new thread, but just wanted to point out that those rich, insular, white-privilege loving, racist douchenozzles that make up Wake's chapter of the Kappa Alpha Order have organized and are hosting a student symposium and panel discussion entitled "The Flag: Navigating Southern Identity, Race and Symbolism" to be held on September 15.

The forum will be hosted by Melissa Harris-Perry and panelists will include Bree Newsome, the singer-songwriter who was arrested for climbing the flagpole and removing the confederate flag at the South Carolina Capitol, and Alicia Garza co-creator of #blacklivesmatter.
