Warning: this is the girliest post ever. I started adding aquage root lifter to my hair and changed the way I blow dry it... GAME. CHANGER. I'm having good hair days everyday!

Man, friends of ours are under contract for a house in Davidsonville, MD (15 min or so from Annapolis) and I am so jelly of the house. Granted, I have no desire to live that far outside of the city right now, but they have a ginormous 1 acre lot, a pool, 5 bedrooms, a sweet basement, and are getting a ton of stuff from the sellers (patio furniture, pool table, exercise equipment, TV, couches, coffee tables, etc).

damn son. I'm looking forward to moving next summer to get a house and some land.

I know right.

There are so many things I love about living in the city, and we actually have a great house and yard (for the city). But then I see ish like this and am like, um, that is amazing.

But also the fact that they're getting like $15k+ of furniture and stuff from the sellers on top of a good deal on the house is crazy.

We looked at a place this past weekend because the wife is saying we need more space. Apparently a 3,000 sf house with 4BR/4BA is kind of cramped with two kids and a 15-pound dog. But the place we looked at had a sweet pool with twin fire pits. We ruled against it because it was on too busy of a street, but now we're in long-term planning mode for basement excavation, expansion, and finishing; or Garage Mahal that will eat our back yard.

I love my job. Just got handed a really, really cool project. Fuck yeah.

I-40E was closed this morning due to some big wreck. The signs instructed to take 311 as a detour so I did, though when I got to the split I saw that there was one lane of traffic starting to snake past the wreck along the shoulder. I left home at 7:50 and got to work at ~9:10. A coworker passed me on the highway before the accident, but she stayed on I-40 to pass on the shoulder instead of taking the detour, and she got to work at 8:30. I'm so annoyed that I sat in traffic for an extra 40 minutes.

Also, I remember freshman year thinking a hallmate from NC was so weird for calling a car accident a wreck, and now it's totally the word I use.

I think I have always called it a wreck. Didn't realize that was a regional thing. Not sure where I would have picked it up? Maybe my dad being southern?
