I have been in NC for 10 years now, and I definitely consider "wreck" to be a southern term and it has not made it's way into my vocabulary yet, even though I hear about them all the time due to my profession. #masshole

McAlister's Deli sent me an email with a $5 off birthday coupon, and I used it today, even though I have one week left in my 20s. Partway through my meal the manager came out with a free cookie for my birthday. How nice! Yay McAlister's :)
 
Nothing yet. Might invite some people over the weekend after the bday. On my actual birthday day, I'll just do my normal Tuesday group run and trivia.

I was thinking of taking the day off work to try and avoid a cake and singing, but I don't think that would work. Plus as I've mentioned here before, I have trouble taking a day off just for the sake of it.

I also need to find a time to get my license renewed (expires on my bday). Maybe that can be the task to allow my day off. What a lovely birthday activity.
 
Someone needs to create a HONDO3 parody and post on all of the HONDO2 threads. It will be like on Dan LeBatard when they have someone pretending to be Papi call up Papi and have a conversation with him.

i'm really salty that bkf put me on ignore, i didn't even neg him. i just made some sweet jokes about townie not existing. guess i'm ethereal too.
