Pot filler might be a difficult install, but the thought had already entered my mind.
 
you could also get them a cast-iron pan for cheap and if they take the plunge they'll probably really like having it
 
a subscription to Cooks Illustrated isn't' bad, if not the best 'in-hand' gift to give.
 
We have a 30” range and it’s fine. Goes along with our 27” double ovens.
 
lotta good ideas, but dad's got most of the things listed here -- he's the kinda guy that's really hard to shop for because he just gets it for himself if he wants it

And to be fair, on the Boris/Trump looking pic, that was taken in 2011, so maybe they copied him !
