That’s how Uber used to work in the US, and how it works in lots of other countries.

Chicago passed a targeted congestion pricing law to try to curb its use where public transit is good

pretty noticeable impact on my bus commute -- so much more car traffic in the mornings than two years ago

I'm not a tech guy, so how bad is this? What does it mean? Is this like when a celebrity says something offensive on social media and claims to be hacked?

Krugman has always struck me as a smart guy, so this whole thing is weird.

So did he just volunteer this or was there a story about it? A quick search doesn’t show anything from before his tweet.

I had a US Attorney friend back in DC who use to joke that they could get that stuff on to someone else´s computer and then use it as leverage.
