Maybe it’s changed since Covid, but it would easily take 40 minutes to drive from the 1.5 miles from Egypt Ln to West Woods Ln down main street in East Hampton. South Hampton is always a traffic shit show

Would love to see a gold finch. They spend the non-breeding season down here but aren’t nearly as brilliant yellow.

we have quite a few in our yard.

i saw a scarlet tanager for the first time IRL and it was fucking wild
 
He was looking at me for a little while and I literally stopped my run to take that excellent shot nbd
 
Goldfinches annually pillage the drying flowers and seed heads of the zinnias
