Picked up a $100 trumpet and violin on ebay this weekend. Gonna try and self-teach the trumpet but violin is gonna take some lessons.

Sax/Piano. Mainly just wanna learn to play this one octopath traveler song and then I'm happy

I feel like an inexpensive violin will defs impact the joy of learning (i.e. timbre issues, having to tune more frequently, etc.)

I just need to do it for like a few hours in order to justify getting a nicer one to my wife
