Clinton Email Problem

I really wish we could fast forward 100 years so we could have an objective historical look at Obama's relative place as a president (spoiler: it's not in the bottom ten or fifteen of presidents as the entire GOP would have you think!!). Of course I'm sure conservatives of today would just dismiss any historical look as being a product of those "left-wing liberal mainstream historians"

Interesting how you want to fast forward in time to have an "objective historical look" and yet you've already done your own personal assessment.

Valid point. My main issue is that the GOP is so busy portraying Obama as the anti-Christ at every turn that there was never any chance they would think he was ranked above the bottom three. Calling the president a cardboard cutout and a community organizer at every turn is tiresome as hell.

Obama was ranked 18th in the most recent American Political Science Association’s Presidents & Executive Politics ranking.

For comparison, Bush was ranked 35th

Can't wait. Barring a catastrophic final two years of Obama's presidency it's difficult to imagine him dropping behind Bush or anywhere close to it. I would wager a considerate amount that in 100 years a lot of the ideas and concepts which Obama has proposed/attempted to implement will be viewed favorably. It would likely require some sort of total overhaul of ACA by a GOP president which radically departs from the basic underlying ideas of the plan to not attribute the foundations of the system to the ACA.

Choosing to negotiate with Iran rather than bomb the shit out of them would likely be viewed positively unless Iran builds a nuke and kills 10,000+ people with it.

IDK. I suppose it depends on how many of those 10k are dook fans. Like I said, give it time.

If only we had an example of how to portray a Republican President by the Dems. Never mind you were sayin?

I agree that time is needed, just trying to figure out what over time is going to shift that is going to make him look substantially worse. The heaviest criticism even in the most unfavorable light to Obama is that he has gotten nothing done in office and he spent a lot of money of a shift to health insurance which worst case ends up not working. The presidents who have been rated very unfavorably as time as gone by have done almost nothing in office and are almost entirely unmemorable or gotten us into unnecessary wars - neither of which Obama has done which makes me curious as to how he could substantially plummet in the century after he leaves office.

Bush is generally ranked in the bottom ten of all presidents regardless of who you ask unless you're polling the Tea Party caucus.

The people voting 100 years from now will be the ones paying the $20T. Their opinion might not be quite as favorable as you think.

Yeah and I'm sure that those individuals will blame one person and only one person from 100 years ago: Thanks Obama.

I'm interested in hearing your argument that Bush was a better president than Obama.

People voting in 100 years will say Obama is nuber won b/c they'll be living in the communist dictatorship he's worked so hard to establish.

If only we had an example of how to impeach a Democratic President by the Reps, or portray one as a Muslim, Anti-American, Socialist, Pussy, Anti-Semitic, Foreigner, Healthcare Destroyer. Never mind you were saying?

Nah it will be gigawatts of money by then. $20T will seem like tree fiddy.
