My Firefox was crashing. so I uninstalled it.

The I downlaoded it. After I saved it came up with a box abotu "Administrator and Password. I've never done anything like this before.

So I change it to me.

It won't let me open it.

What gives?

Thanks...

The computer has become self-aware. Destroy it before it destroys you.

would someone who knows about these things PM me....

Do you think you might have a virus? If you don't remember setting an administrator password there probably is not one so you should just hit enter....

I've it partially back but it won't connect now...what do I do?

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.yahoo.com.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

and this

Unable to connect

I can help, for $500. Seriously though, strange problem. Would be hard to sort without remoting in.

Reset the network settings.

Try Start->Run
"ipconfig /renew"
with no quotes.

Does IE work?

File-->Options-->Advanced-->Network-->Settings-->Select 'No Proxy'

Try that.

Try a system restore and go back 24-48 hours (or whenever Firefox was last working). Let us know if that works.

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

I went to Start.All programs but I didn't see accessories....
