Well now that we have a new justice on the court, time to help the American people with a new stimulus package! what's that? Mitch has adjourned the Senate until Nov 9?

yeah, win or lose trump will be throwing molotov cocktails and depending on the senate results they may be as well.
 
Good odds the current WH pandemic task force never meets again if Trump loses. Why would they waste their time helping the American people if there’s no political benefit?

It’s pretty infuriating that the anti-science, anti-experts, ignorant dumb asses of this country have lead us down this path. It’s one thing to just fuck over yourselves but because it’s a communicable disease it’s also fucking over everyone else. Like months ago when the first lockdowns just ended and the happy summer days were upon us anyone that knew anything tried to warn we need to get things under control because winter is coming. Oh don’t worry that won’t happen look out rates are dropping, hey winter is getting closer and we are way far from where we need to be better do something, nah my freedom we will be ok, hey guys winters here, everyone’s fucked, enjoy. Oh my god who could ever see this coming?

It is equally infuriating that the chicken littles, fear mongers, media circus performers, and label-any-rational-thinking-not-concluding-with-we're-all-gonna-die-as-anti-science WFH elite of this country have led us down this path. Like months ago, when this first started

Nope, still here. Actual deaths as a percentage of cases have gone down, it seems to still mostly hit those with underlying conditions, same as when it started. BTW, had dude with underlying conditions followed that part of science and started working on them back when this started in March, he could have dropped 30 lbs and eliminated a lot of his risk by now.

COVID cases and deaths spiked in the southern summer when people were inside. So yes, that’s the worry with winter.

It’s hard to believe a non-rube could still be a denialist after a quarter million dead and hospitals currently choked to their overflow point.
 
we did not shut it all down. Because of this administration ONLY half the country shut down and wore masks.

We had some portion of Mar - May to get things reasonably managed if not under control. Because of this administration the other HALF 9f the country said "fuck off I'm a special snowflake and don't care about anyone else."

Fatigue set in. Now even the most well intentioned got tired. Slipped up. And right as things were improving that same deplorable group opened wide up. Mega churches, biker rallys, trump campaign events, bars, restaurants, concerts. It goes on.

One chance and thanks to trump, kushner, and the deplorables America was fucked. Nearly 230,000 people are dead. Most would not have died. Had the POSPOTUS followed the science 2 mos of difficulty would have passed by and lif3 would have headed cautiously and safely into whatever the new normal might be.
