Texas is completely backward folks, this proves it.

Craig James, ESPN announcer who allegedly killed 5 hookers is running for KBH's seat in the United States Senate.

Google it, the rumors are out there.

And I thought Rick Perry was going to be the most embarrassing thing in Texas politics for years to come.

Here are the facts:

1. Craig James is running for the United States Senate as a Republican.

2. His son Adam is a turd who got one of the greatest coaches in college football - "the pirate" Mike Leach - fired because he wanted more playing time.

3. Craig James has never denied the longstanding rumor that he has killed 5 hookers at SMU

His true colors were exposed with the Mike Leach fiasco. Unless Cornyn is planning to step aside, he doesn't have a chance. My guess is this is a dry run for Kay Bailey's seat.* ETA It's Kay Bailey's seat that is up next year, not Cornyn's.

You keep saying Texas Senate, which would be bad enough but still relatively harmless. James is running for the U.S. Senate per the articles I've seen, where he could potentially do real damage.

Honestly this isn't the first time I heard a rumor that Craig James killed 5 hookers at SMU. If he, the prospective candidate, keeps failing to acknowledge the rumor that he, Craig James, killed 5 hookers at SMU then he might be guilty of it. He might not, but it might be possible that Craig James killed 5 hookers at SMU
