Dan's Take on the win

So, back to the article. Hope the players have the same intensity the remainder of the season.

How's InsideCarolina been? You've been awfully quiet about Wake's win today.. Not surprised though.

What's InsideCarolina have to do with anything? You're an annoying townie that doesn't understand some students go to Wake from out of state, aren't you? (Rhetorical question. You are.)

And I'm stoked we won, but was only able to catch 10 or so minutes of it - the first part of the second half. Not really in the position to comment one way or another.

It's what the "internet is about" for cowards.

Just because you can insult people whom you may harm doesn't mean you should.

We're talking about 18-22 yos. They are under pressure few here can comprehend. They have to be perfect on and off the court which is something very here could ever do.

If what "the internet is about" is attacking kids who can't respond to you, the internet is about being a pussy and celebrating being a pussy.

I didn't create it. Al gore did

The internet has provided more easy courage than all the whiskey and big pickup trucks in history.

Don't agree with you often, but on this I do.

Obviously the improved blocking out and rebounding was because of the criticism I posted on the other boards, comparing our players to theater ushers when it came to rebounding and blocking out. I'm cool with it guys. If my criticisms inspire you to play better, just holler, and I'll give you all the feedback you will need to make the tourney (gratis).

Now, once you have the blocking out and rebounding mastered, and I'm not convinced that you have as yet (but you are showing promise), the next constructive criticism will be about following your own shot instead of doing what we now seem to do most of the time. After launching a shot, our players:

1. become spectators

2. pose for SC

3. pray

I wouldn't hesitate one second to tell [Redacted] that they have failed at this and it should be fixed.

If Skip were still around, he'd laugh and tell you about several times we had similar discussions.

And I wouldn't hesitate to tell Jeff [Redacted] that I think he is a terrible head coach.

What is your point?

I'm glad you also don't hesitate to criticize the team on the Internet where they can't respond to you.

Back around 1992 P.I. (pre-internet), I was talking shit to Ben Coleman the week following our close game against App State. I was fucking with him that the App State linemen pushed him around like a little bitch and I kept smacking him on the shoulder saying, "that's right, isn't it. You were their little bitch, weren't you!??"

I didn't pay attention to his waning humor in tolerating me until he slid his hands under my arm pits and cleanly lifted me totally off the floor about half-a-foot and said, "who's the bitch now." I weighed 275 at the time.

I responded, "Uh, me sir. Yes, I am the bitch." He laughed and put me down.

He's lucky the internet wasn't around then otherwise I would've had to smack him down and post a message about it.

I feel like RJ is going to get a Hollywood friend to start making these kind of videos for our boards:

Rj Karl did ask me to meet him at a bar about 10 years ago to watch a spurs lakers playoff game. We were both cheering for the spurs of course. Rj forgot to tell me it was a lakers bar. We newly got ourselves killed and nOt because Of me

You would still have been the bitch.

How tall are you?
