Moses was a center his whole career. Koncak was his backup, but we digress.
Aguirre was a 3. Rodman would probably be on the list

1. Duncan
2. Garnett
3. Nowitzki
4. Malone
5. Barkley
6. McHale (All five ahead would cook him, plus stats aren't that gaudy. Know he's a winner, but was pretty fortunate to play on arguably the best team ever).
Unrelated, yeah Devin is only 18 and doesn't turn 19 until May so he could definitely keep growing.
Absolutely. Championships. Stats. It's all there. In Dirk's case, one of the most impressive playoff runs of all-time. NBA Finals MVP, and without another all-star on his team.
Dammit people, take this off Devin's thread!
Karl Malone. Not Moses Malone. Moses was a center his whole career.
And get out with Otis Thorpe and Thurl Bailey. For one, Bailey didn't start, he was a 6th man. And neither made all-star teams. Thorpe may have made a few, but to be considered one of the best power forwards to ever play the game, you probably need to start and make all-star games.
The other two we left out are KGarnett and of course Nowitski, who has probably moved ahead of Barkley. I'd go:
Duncan
McHale
Malone
Nowitski
Barkley
Garnett
Elvin Hayes
Bob Petit
Devin Thomas - ridiculous on that low left block. If he can start rolling into the paint from the right block and making the baby hook - completely unstoppable without a double team.
Also, off subject, but that running shot in the lane where CMM dribbles hard down the right side, jumps into the paint, and shoots a baby left handed runner, while leaning away from the rim - very HIGH degree of difficulty on that shot. Whoa.
Duncan
McHale
Big E
Pettit
KG
Baylor
Sir Charles
Dirk
Malone

For sure. The only thing that worries me about the freshman is that they either show really advanced stuff or play like 3* freshmen. There's not really a whole lot in between the good and the bad at this point. Bridging that gap isn't easy for any caliber player and I hope that they're willing to work hard enough to do it...
This is a lot closer to the truth. I always loved Wayman Tisdale at the 4. Also, Elgin and Bias were always 4 men in my mind (even though a lot of folks put them at the 3). You gotta move Charles and Mailman up, and KG down a little imo.
Baylor was a much better version of Charles than Charles. There was nothing that Charles did better than Baylor. I almost put Baylor 4th... and probably should have.
KG could have stopped Malone. Malone would get eaten up trying to cover KG.
Had McHale been on a lesser team, he would have been a Top 5 scorer and rebounder year in and out.
Hey old man, keep this meanlingless discussion off Devin's thread.
