Turconi is hitting .343 on the year, should he be sitting for Mueller? Or Steel?
 
Error and walk got us in hole turned one run into four runs in the first two innings
 
Deacs getting no-hit through 6 innings by a pitcher who hadn't gone more than 5 innings on the year prior to today, and who had a 5.59 ERA

three Deacs in the starting lineup with sub-.210 batting averages on the year; Deacs trail 0-5 B6
 
Deacs manage to get on the board against the bullpen but UL completes the sweep, 5-4

the math is very, very hard already for the Deacs to get into the NCAA tournament.

To play 'what if', after the pick-off for 3rd out, in the 9th the batter Seymour (carried over via the pick-off) got a hit and our next a HR. So under ideal scenario, it's 5-5. (actually would be 6-5 WF) Not 4-5 final. Oh well.

Looking doubtful for the NCAAT is generous. We’re not in the top 100 in the rpi and have zero Q1 wins. We have no shot barring a two week period where we go undefeated.

no doubt, need ~ 18-6 the rest of the regular season to have a chance, and there are some good teams on the schedule.
 
This year has been nothing but disappointment after disappointment. Just a poor performance all around.
 
Yeah nice job by the offense. But the struggles of the pitching, across the board, is a concerning mystery.

Really need to get the sweep.
 
We only have three guys, all relievers, with an ERA under 4.50 (Hearn, Fleming, Menendez). And everyone else but Peluse and McSweeney are above 6.
