Drink recipes

How long do you infuse this punch?

It can be had a few hours after making it, or even sooner. We feel that it is best after a few days to a week though. We tend to make a batch at whe the weather gets warm and then keep re-loading the container with the rums and fruit as needed when it gets low.

Gin Bucket:

One cooler
One bag of ice
1.75 L gin
4L sprite
2L fresca
10 limes halved.

... It'll get you drunk.

5 of us drank two of them two months ago. It. Was. A. Shit. Show.

A couple of these will set you straight.

Anybody used the Scales Cocktale mixers before? They have no carbs or sugar. Can they possibly be good for a magarita?

Maurice, glad that you enjoyed! I think that DeacHawk is going to make a batch soon as well.

debating it for saturday night. having a party where each boat has a different drink on it. trying to decide what to go with

tequila and moonshine are already spoken for

My favorite current drink:

The Getaway (Derek Brown)

1 ounce Cruzan Black Strap Rum
1/2 ounce Cynar
1 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce Simple Syrup

Combine in Cocktail Shaker with Ice, strain into martini glass

Have you been to the Columbia Room? The Passenger is great, but wondering what it's like to splurge at Brown's back room? Also he's apparently designing the cocktails for RJ Cooper's new place, Rogue 24.

Personally, I like the way they do it at Firebirds. More like the jar on the left side.

Stack fresh pineapple in hexagons, pour in some type of vodka, and let it sit for at least a week. IIRC Firebirds lets it sit for 20 days.
