Has anyone had any problems with mis-delivery with FedEx and had to appeal or fight with them? I am trying to help my SIL and we are at a loss. She ordered a game system from GameStop - it was to be delivered by FedEx. They took it to the wrong house (her neighbor). This is easily proven as they took a picture of the house when they delivered it and it doesn't look like her house.
She filed claims with FedEx but they concluded that they delivered it to the right house - despite the evidence she submitted, including pictures of her house and the picture they sent of the house where they delivered it. GameStop is being no help because FedEx tells them they delivered it.
We are having trouble figuring out how to escalate it any further. If you call them you get support personnel in a foreign country and they see that she filed claims that were denied.
We can't figure out how to take it up a level and get someone with half a brain to pay attention.

So she can't get it back from her neighbor? If FedEx and Game Stop aren't helpful, maybe a fraud claim to her bank/credit card company?

That's a Game Stop issue. Doesn't matter if they sent it to you by FedEx or carrier pigeon, you paid them and it never arrived. Just cancel the credit card payment. Let them fight FedEx.

Yeah… Kernersville FedEx is notoriously bad.

Current theory is that the neighbor (not friend, obviously) just kept it. When she went and asked the neighbor after the delivery notice the neighbor said that she told the driver that it was the wrong house - but then she added "but it doesn't matter since they will just send you another one".
She paid online through Paypal and is trying to submit a claim that way but not sure if that will help.

Paid via debit via PayPal - so no help there. And Gamestop is stonewalling because FedEx says they delivered it to her. Would also love to know an escalation path at Gamestop...

Call one of those consumer advocate reporters from the local news and implicate the neighbor.

Unfortunate that she happens to live next to wakefan1995......

Good grief, that’s a terrible human being and neighbor if true.

I find that FedEx often will give you a delivery date when a shipment starts, then I'll check on it and it'll say good news it's arriving early! Then inevitably they'll say it's "delayed" and it'll come on the original date or a day or two after. It's never early.
