Donald is motivated by two things: 1) ego and 2) money.

What has he ever done that suggests he has been motivated to action to address injustice or inequities?
 
Donald can’t remember what he ate for dinner an hour ago and his sycophants want to argue that he’s playing 8D intergalactic chess. It’s Occam’s razor: he obstructed the investigation because he knows his staff had ties to Russia. That’s the answer. Donald was elected because he taps into the lowest common denominator of the American electorate and he embodies this as a politician.

It’s not complicated.

To be fair, maybe Bill Clinton thought he had nothing to hide and then the special council came asking about a blow job and a cigar. These investigations can did up all sorts of shit and could be scary even if you’re fully innocent on the matter at hand.
