I think I heard this info (# of frosh starting QBs) mentioned somewhere on one of the pregame shows, but not during the broadcast. Though the announcers did mention Hartman's freshman status and praise his play frequently.

If one is an example, two is a coincidence and three is a trend, then true freshman quarterbacks starting in Week 1 is now simply the norm. Within the last week, we’ve seen five Power Five programs (Rutgers, Minnesota, USC, Nebraska, Wake Forest) name a true freshman its starter for Week 1.
These players range in hype and profile.
USC’s JT Daniels is a five-star who many projected to start since the moment he opted to reclassify to the 2018 class. Adrian Martinez, a four-star prospect, set the world on fire in Nebraska’s spring game and never relinquished the lead in the team’s QB battle. Art Sitkowski, a Rutgers early enrollee from IMG Academy, always seemed likely to play right away – he was as high-profile a “get” as the Scarlet Knights could’ve hoped for. Zack Annexstad, meanwhile, came to Minnesota as a walk-on and earned the starting job. There's also Sam Hartman at Wake Forest, who enrolled early and quickly impressed the Demon Deacon coaches...

During ESPN's highlights of the game on Sportscenter this morning, the only mention of Hartman was his 2nd interception. The highlights first focused on the tribute to Tulane's paralyzed former player (rightfully so) but then switched to Hartman's interception and a mention of Tulane's idiotic "Turnover Beads." And oh yeah, Wake won the game in OT.
In other words, ESPN completely overlooked the real story
, i.e. Hartman, one of five true frosh QBs in the country, leads his team to an OT win on the road in his first start while passing for 378 yards and throwing "dime" after "dime" to three excellent receivers.
